When I turned on my computer this morning, I got a error message that said (basically) 'Windows cannot load the locally stored profile due to insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile' and second one that said that it was automatically creating a temporary profile for me.

When it finished loading, that's exactly what it had done - signed me on as if I was a new user. I know that the old data is still on my computer somewhere due to the amount of space available on the hard drive, but can't access it (which is rather inconvenient).

Can anybody help? My computer was fine when I went to bed yesterday evening.
